Armstrong 800 series Inverted Bucket Steam Trap is basic without Integral Strainer. This is acceptable in most application as the condensate discharge port is located at the Top of the Trap. Secret of long service life is the design of Plug & Seat whereby after long usage, wear & tear causes even tighter shut-off due to Plug changes in shape from Round to Cone / Tapered shape.
